T20 World Cup 2021: Younis Khan Hopeful Of Pakistan Registering Their First Win Against India In World Cups

Former Pakistan batsman Younis Khan expressed his desire to see his country defeat India in the World Cups for the first time on Sunday. The two teams are scheduled to clash in their first Super-12 stage match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The odds are stacked against Babar Azam and co. as they still look a bit shaky while their opponents, India, cleared most of their issues during the warmup matches. Sparks are expected to fly when the two teams meet on Sunday and Younis Khan hoped to see Pakistan pull through.
“From Pakistan’s point of view, I am hoping that 5-0 record in T20 World Cup will become 5-1. India-Pakistan is a high-pressure match and only those who are able to deliver in such scenarios go on to become legends of the game,” Younis was quoted as saying by ABP news.
“MS Dhoni as a mentor will be huge for India in the World Cup” – Younis Khan
The 43-year-old Younis Khan further mentioned that legendary skipper, MS Dhoni’s addition to the Indian side as a mentor will be a big boost for them. Just the presence of a persona like Dhoni can calm the environment, as per Younis.
Pakistan has never defeated India in a World Cup match but they will have a chance to break the losing streak on Sunday. Both teams will be under pressure to deliver and the match will be compelling to watch.
