Pakistan Cricket Team against all odds defeated New Zealand in the final of the Tri-Series. The Men in Green were quite clinical against New Zealand. Pakistan once again is looking threatening, as the openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are continuing their good work.

Pakistan has found a reliant batter in the form of Mohammad Nawaz. The left-handed batter played two blinders which were quite dominating. If Pakistan makes Nawaz bat at the No.4 position then they can easily accelerate in the middle overs as he can provide the impetus to the team.

The former India batter made an interesting comment on Pakistan on his Twitter handle. “So Pakistan have won the tri-series without their famed openers not firing. Got me thinking, is it a good thing or a bad thing? I can’t seem to come to terms with it. They have just stuck to playing the old school brand of cricket which has failed them many times but…It worked today.” said Mukund.

Pakistan Back to it’s Best

The Men in Green are looking ominous at the moment. Babar Azam and Saqlain Mushtaq would be somewhat relieved after their triumph against New Zealand. The boundaries in New Zealand were not that much big as Australia but they were testing.

Pakistan would be aware that they don’t get complacent. Pakistan should not play musical chairs as they should trust one combination rather than chopping and changing. The pitches in Australia would come under ICC Scrutiny which means that we can expect competitive wickets.
