ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Eoin Morgan Heaps Praise On Adil Rashid After England's Win Against Sri Lanka

England Cricket Team won a nail-biter against Sri Lanka. England became the 2nd team to qualify from the Semi Finals from Group 1. The team showed great fighting spirit as chasing 142 runs was not easy at the SCG where the pitch was assisting the spinners a lot.
Sri Lanka would be dejected as they ended their tournament with 3 defeats and once again there are questions raised over the team’s preparation. It looked as if the team was exhausted as they had to play Qualifiers to qualify for the main tourney.
Eoin Morgan on Adil Rashid
Former Skipper Eoin Morgan was seen interacting with Sky Sports and was asked about Adil Rashid. “I think even the confidence Jos gave him [Rashid] in his interview there reinforces that he is irreplaceable in the team. People sometimes jump to the far right column and it doesn’t justify his contribution to the team, certainly on a wicket like this.” said Eoin Morgan.
Unstoppable England
The England Cricket Team succumbed to pressure but Ben Stokes played a sensible knock of 42 runs in 36 balls where he was playing smartly. It won’t be wrong to say that England has found a replacement for Dawid Malan as there are chances that Malan may not be the fit for the Semi-Final clash.
Skipper Jos Buttler would be concerned as the likes of Livingstone and Moeen are not performing according to their credentials. The team is too much dependent on Buttler and Hales to give them a solid start which is not a good thing.
