ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Points Table After India vs Netherlands

Clinical India has won two straight games after crushing the Netherlands by 56 runs to take the lead in Group 2. India scored 179/2 thanks to half-centuries from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav.
In response, bowlers had a standout effort, holding the Netherlands to 123/9. Mohammed Shami took one wicket, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin each took two.
Suryakumar Yadav And Virat Kohli Provide Indian Batting Strong Finish
At the midway point, India’s innings was waning as the hitters struggled at first on a little sluggish surface. However, when Surya stepped out, he immediately transformed the pace of the innings with his signature 360-degree game.
Although it wasn’t his most fluid fifty, Kohli too finishes with an unbroken fifty as India struck 112 runs in the final 10 overs to reach their desired total.
As a response, the Netherlands lost both of its openers in the space of five overs. Max O’Dowd had a promising start before being dismissed by Axar Patel. Bhuvneshwar bowled two consecutive overs on his debut and also claimed a wicket.
India continued to take wickets often, preventing the Dutch from forming any kind of partnership. The Netherlands eventually scored 123/9 in 20 overs.
Even though No. 11 Paul van Meekeren of the Netherlands finished his innings with three consecutive boundaries against Arshdeep, the Netherlands did not obtain the substantial NRR boost they may have hoped for.
India won by a score of 56 runs, but still tops the Group 2 standings. Despite having a respectable NRR of 1.425, South Africa is well ahead with 5.200. These numbers aren’t very relevant at this time, though, because there are still a lot of matches available.
