ICC T20 World Cup 2022: "Ravindra Jadeja Is A World Class But We Have Found One Alternative"- Yuzvendra Chahal Confident Of Finding A Replacement

The Men in Blue has had a terrific home season as they defeated Australia & South Africa in T20I Series. But in doing that, the team has faced a lot of injury setbacks. Ravindra Jadeja’s absence would hurt India a lot. The all-rounder could have been a force to reckon with as he can contribute to all the 3 departments of the game.
Jasprit Bumrah, the speedster also has been ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Due to these injuries, once again the management will have to go to the drawing board. India doesn’t have any shortage of talent but showing faith in youngsters in a marquee event can prove to be risky.
Yuzvendra Chahal on Ravindra Jadeja
Yuzvendra Chahal was seen interacting with Dainik Jagran and was asked about Ravindra Jadeja. “Jadeja is a world class bowler and he has been batting extremely well too. Injuries are part of the game and no one can take his place. But the way Axar Patel has been bowling, we have found one alternative. He has shown he can do it.” he said.
Great Chance for Axar Patel
Axar Patel, the left-arm off-spinner may not be that lethal with the bat in hand; but he can spring a surprise. Axar is someone who can bowl in the power-play overs and make his presence count. He would enjoy bowling in Australian conditions where boundaries are long and batters can’t just rely on technique.
There are chances that Rahul Dravid & Rohit Sharma may play with one spinner in the T20 World Cup due to the non-spinning pitches. India should not play musical chairs as a couple of losses can end the tournament for Men in Blue just like the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
