Suryakumar Yadav is someone who can take the opponent by surprise by smashing the bowler all-around the park. The right-handed batter has made striking look easy. The batter has a wide range of shots which makes him a stand-out batter.

Ross Taylor was seen interacting with ICC and was asked about Suryakumar Yadav. “Four-five is the hardest place to bat in T20s. To be ranked No.1 when you’re batting behind KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and (Virat) Kohli, some fantastic batters in there, and for him to just come out and play the way he does is a credit to him.” said Ross Taylor

The right-handed batter played a brilliant cameo against Bangladesh where he scored 30 runs in 16 balls where he smashed 4 fours. Suryakumar Yadav has been quite pivotal to the Indian setup, due to which the team is not entirely dependent on the top 3 batters; KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Suryakumar would be well aware of the fact that he needs to be more vigilant in his shot selection. The right-handed batter may be promoted up the order in the case if India gets a blistering start. Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be mightily pleased with his performance as now he has struck 2 half centuries in the tournament.
