Former Pakistan National Cricket Team leg-spinner Danish Kaneria, after India’s World Cup exit, said that the Indian players are not at all capable of handling any kind of pressure.
On Thursday, November 10, Team India endured yet another failure in an ICC tournament as they faced an embarrassing 10-wicket loss to England in the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval.

In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria stated that the Pakistani players are far better than Indian players under pressure situations. He also opined that the Men In Blue don’t have a strong bowling unit like the Men In Green to defend scores in T20Is. He said:
“The Indian players just can’t handle any pressure. Pakistan are far better than India when it comes to handling pressure. If India wanted to bat first in the semi-finals, they should have a bowling attack like Pakistan.
“But the Indian side don’t have bowlers like Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz in their lineup.”
IPL is considered one of the best leagues in the world, but why has India’s cricket suffered so much since then? – Danish Kaneria

Danish Kaneria further highlighted that the India National Cricket Team won the inaugural edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2007, however, since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is considered the most lucrative T20 tournament in the world, the Men In Blue have failed to capture even a single T20 World Cup title. He stated:
“India won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 under MS Dhoni’s leadership. The inception of the IPL was in 2008, and since then, they have not won the trophy even once.
“Yes, they did win the 50-over World Cup, but nothing in T20 cricket. The IPL is considered one of the best leagues in the world. But why has India’s cricket suffered so much since then?”
