IND vs PAK Final: India’s Head to Head Records vs Pakistan In ICC Knockouts

India take on England in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Adelaide on November 10. The Men in Blue have a chance to get to their third T20 World Cup final. India won the inaugural T20 World Cup back in 2007 and since then have been waiting to lift their second title.

Team India will be facing Pakistan in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 if they manage to beat England in the semi-final. They have had a memorable run in this World Cup so far winning four out of their five games. They lost only to South Africa in Perth.

After India made a group stage exit in the 2021 T20 World Cup, they have made a stronger comeback in the 2022 World T20. Virat Kohli (246) and Suryakumar Yadav (225) have scored the majority of the runs for India while Arshdeep Singh has led the charge with the ball.

Pakistan made a strong comeback in the tournament after losing their first two games against India and Zimbabwe. They defeated the Netherlands by six wickets, South Africa by 33 runs in the DLS method, and Bangladesh by five wickets to make the semi-final. In the semi-final, they beat New Zealand by seven wickets as they brought out their A-game in the contest.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan put up a century stand chasing 153 to win as sanity prevailed in the Pakistan top order. The side is more than eager to pace India in the final to avenge their Super 12 defeat in Adelaide earlier in the World Cup.
