Indian Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Pakistan on 23rd October. This time the Men in Blue looks like a formidable unit. India would be aware of the drubbing they received against Pakistan last year where the entire nation was in a state of shock.

Pakistan on the other hand has a tough task on its hands. The team’s middle order is nowhere perfect and it won’t be wrong to say that once again Babar and Rizwan will have to do the hard work and stay as long as possible at the crease. The Men in Green has a habit of finding match-winners on a given day which makes them a dangerous team.

Robin Uthappa on Bowling Combination

Robin Uthappa was seen interacting with ESPNcricinfo and was asked about the pace attack of India. “I think he (Arshdeep) walks into the setup. It also depends upon how many fast bowlers you go with because you also have Hardik Pandya there. I would ideally want to go with a left-arm fast bowler because that change of angle makes a huge difference and Arshdeep is also bowling exceptionally well with the new ball. I would go with Arshdeep Singh, Shami, and Bhuvi,” said Uthappa.

India’s Bowling A Worry

We have seen in the Asia Cup 2022 as well as against Australia and South Africa that the pacers are not able to do their job perfectly. The bowlers have been ineffective at the death overs due to which all of the hard work of batters is getting ruined.

The management needs to make sure that they are not giving Bhuvneshwar Kumar more than one over at the death. He should make the most of the swinging conditions as giving him 3 overs during power-play overs won’t be a bad option. It would be interesting to see whether Shami immediately gets an entry into the team as Harshal Patel has done a lot of hard work since the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2021.
