Indian Cricket Team is on a roll at the moment. The Men in Blue are looking ominous after their back-to-back triumphs against Australia and South Africa. Skipper Rohit Sharma would be delighted with the team’s performance after the below-par Asia Cup 2022.

India would be aware that the team can’t get complacent as conditions in Australia would be quite different. India would be banking on their batters to make a statement after a poor show in T20 World Cup 2021. A billion people would be hoping that the team shows a fight this time.

Virat Kohli on Rohit Sharma

Virat Kohli was seen interacting with Star Sports and was asked about Rohit Sharma. “Our discussions are always on how do we win big tournaments and then, our planning and preparations are directed towards that.” said Kohli.

“Ever since I have come back to the team, the atmosphere has been very good. Whenever there’s this healthy camaraderie within the group, then you look forward to doing anything you can for the team.” he stated.

“So, our understanding and vision for the game has always been similar. We always work towards covering all the loopholes no matter how small they are. We solidify such aspects and move ahead.” he added.

Virat Kohli Invaluable

The former Skipper would be vital to the team’s success in the T20 World Cup 2022. The right handed batter knows the Australian conditions quite well as he was a part of the 2015 Cricket World Cup. The batter will have to guide the team in the middle overs phase as smashing boundaries won’t be easy.

The Skipper Rohit Sharma and Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be well aware of the fact that the team needs to start well; as a couple of losses can ruin all the hard work. It would be interesting to see whether the team continues its fearless approach as amassing runs in Australia is never easy.
