England’s Cricket Team became the T20 World Cup Champions after winning a tight match against Pakistan. England showed a lot of character and intent throughout the match as after losing the first 3 wickets, it was never an easy task given Pakistan’s dangerous bowling lineup.
Pakistan on the other hand would be regretting their batting as a score of 138 runs was below par. During their batting, they were facing a tough time clearing the fence. In the last 5 overs, the Men in Green struck only 2 boundaries which were quite astonishing.

Ben Stokes on Victory
Ben Stokes was seen interacting with the broadcasters and was asked about the win.
“In finals, especially chasing, you forget all the hard work before that. I thought the way we bowled, that’s what won us the game. It was a tricky wicket, one that you never thought you were in on, so to restrict them to what we did… the bowlers have to take a lot of credit,” said Ben Stokes

“With [the Ireland loss] being so early on in the competition we obviously had to address it, say what was said, and then let it go because in tournaments you can’t carry baggage with you.
“That was a little blip on the way but the best teams learn from their mistakes; they take it on the chin but they never let it affect them, and move on to the next challenge,” he added.
Ben Stokes Unstoppable
The flamboyant all-rounder played one of the finest knocks in the history of T20 World Cups. The batter showed immense mental application as whacking the bowlers was not easy.
Stokes smashed his maiden T20I half-century as he waited for bad balls rather than throwing away his wicket in pressure situations.

Ben Stokes showed to the World Cricket that he is not done yet as many experts questioned his place in the team. Skipper Jos Buttler would be ecstatic as now he is a part of the 2019 World Cup and 2022 Champions.
The team didn’t panic in the absence of Mark Wood and Dawid Malan which says a lot about the team’s dynamics as both have been quite pivotal to the team’s success.
