Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav are competing for the second wrist-spinner position in India’s T20 World Cup 2022 team, and Aakash Chopra has voted for Kuldeep Yadav.
The Indian selectors’ main pick for the international competition as a wrist-spinner is probably Yuzvendra Chahal. If they want to add another offensive spinner to the team, they will have to decide between Bishnoi and Kuldeep.

Aakash Chopra discussed the spinners the selectors could choose for India’s T20 World Cup team in a video posted on his YouTube page. Regarding the rivalry between Bishnoi and Kuldeep, he remarked the following:
“If Bishnoi and Kuldeep are competing, I will lean toward Kuldeep. Although I adore Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep offers me more diversity. If you are looking for a wicket-taker, try a different left-arm bowler with a little flight and a different delivery method.”

“You chose two different leg-spinners for the Asia Cup, including Ravi Bishnoi. Since the World Cup, Bishnoi has taken 15 wickets in nine games.”
Ravi Bishnoi is your wicket-taker: Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra noted that Bishnoi is a powerful weapon but that the spinner for the Lucknow Super Giants did not have a terrific IPL 2022. He noticed:

“He is unquestionably your wicket-taker, so if you are thinking from that perspective, consider him. He has also been thrifty. He did not have the finest IPL season, but he did take 13 wickets in 14 games.”
Aakash Chopra stated that it is up to the Indian think tank to choose what they are searching for while pointing out that Kuldeep can also be used as a striking weapon. The well-known commentator clarified:

“Keep Kuldeep Yadav in mind as well. Since the World Cup, he has only participated in two games, taking three wickets. But in the IPL, he took 21 wickets in 14 games. The selectors, captain, and Rahul Dravid must consider that; it is not about who is superior, but rather about what you desire.”
The eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled for 2022, and it will take place in Australia from October 16 to November 13, 2022.
