Newly appointed England National Cricket Team red-ball captain Ben Stokes is unlikely to bowl in the second match of the three-match Test series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team, which will be played at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham from June 10.
England had won the first match of the three-match Test series at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, London with the help of Joe Root’s sensational century in the 4th innings of the match. Also, the pace battery of the English team did a great job in the match.

Meanwhile, star all-rounder, Ben Stokes looked in discomfort during the training session of the England National Cricket Team on Wednesday and he bowled approximately six to eight balls before pulling out. Stokes was also spotted having a discussion with the team doctor of England for a long period of time, according to Sky Sports.
Ben Stokes Had Good Batting Session In The Nets
Ben Stokes was having some issues during the training session and he didn’t bowl but he had a good batting session in the nets and he batted for a significant amount of time.
Also, the all-rounder, who recently took over the captaincy from Joe Root, will be leading the England National Cricket Team in the second Test against the Kiwis.
Talking about Stokes’ performance in the first Test, he picked up one wicket in the first innings of the match and scored a half-century in England’s second innings of the match.
Meanwhile, England have named the playing XI for the second Test against New Zealand and Jack Leach, who was replaced by Matt Parkinson, after suffering an injury has been declared fit to play.
