India have completely asserted their authority over Australia in the second game at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Apart from that the visitors have looked casual on the field with the laziest of efforts coming from Cameron Green.

In the chase of 400 runs, Australian wickets fell like a pack of cards after David Warner (53) and Marnus Labuschagne (27) batted decently well. Cameron Green played positively and it seemed that he would keep the fight on for his team.

Cameron Green played some crips shots but he made a schoolboy error that cut short his stay on the crease. The all-rounder got run out in the 20th over and he totally has himself to blame for his wicket as despite reaching the crease, he didn’t keep his bat down.

Sean Abbott tried to slog Shardul Thakur but he got an inside edge that struck onto the pad and the ball rolled towards the keeper. The batter called for a quick single and Cameron Green even made it. But he was lazy while grounding his bat. His bat was still in the air when the zing bails lit up.

Cameron Green managed just 19 runs off 13 balls. He also smashed 1 four and 1 six in his innings. After his wicket, Australia lost wickets early. However, Sean Abbott (54) and Josh Hazlewood (23) put up a good fight in the end. But the target was too much in the end as they were bundled out for 217 runs to lose the game by the margin of 99 runs.

Cameron Green Becomes the fourth Australian bowler to concede 100 runs with the ball

Cameron Green didn’t have a great outing in the match. He was taken to the cleaners with the ball as Indian bowlers were all over him. They smashed him all over the park and made them look clueless.

Cameron Green conceded 103 runs in his 10 wickets and also picked 2 wickets. He became just the fourth Australian bowler to cross over the 100-run mark. The all-rounder joined the likes of Mick Lewis, Andrew Tye and Adam Zampa. He also became the 19th overall bowler to achieve the unwanted feat.
