IND vs WI: Watch- Are You Obsessed With My Milestones, Says Virat Kohli During Interesting Conversation With West Indies Wicketkeeper

The ongoing second Test between India and West Indies is a special match for Virat Kohli. As soon as the game began, the former India skipper added yet another feather to his already illustrious cap. The veteran batsman became just the fourth Indian player to reach the mark of 500 matches in international cricket.

Prior to him, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul, and MS Dhoni had achieved the incredible milestone for Team India in international cricket. Virat Kohli made the match even more special for him by scoring a fine fifty and was unbeaten at stumps on day one.

As Virat was busy rescuing India after the visitors lost four wickets in quick time, a hilarious conversation between him and West Indies wicketkeeper Joshua Da Silva took place. The incident happened after the 72nd over of India’s innings. As Virat Kohli was adjusting his helmet and putting his gloves on for the 73rd over, Joshua Da Silva started the conversation.

The stump mic caught the West Indies wicketkeeper telling Virat Kohli: “My mom told me she’s coming to watch Virat Kohli bat, I couldn’t believe it. Get your hundred Virat, I want you to score it.”

Virat then said: “Are you obsessed with my milestones?”

In reply, the West Indies star said: “No, no but I want you to get this one.”

Joshua Da Silva was not done yet as he told Virat Kohli: “Stealing doubles since 2012.” The India star could not hear if the first time and started laughing after the wicketkeeper said it again. Da Silva was most likely praising Kohli for his fitness with the ‘stealing double’ remark. It was around 2012 that Kohli started working on his fitness and transformed himself into one of the fittest players in the game.
