India take on Bangladesh in the second ODI on December 7 in Dhaka. This is a must-win match for Team India if they are to keep the series alive. India previously lost the ODI series against Bangladesh back in 2015. Another loss would mean back-to-back losses for Rohit Sharma’s side. The ODI series is a part of the ICC ODI Super League. Both teams have already qualified for the next year’s ODI World Cup in India.

India is led by Rohit Sharma while Litton Das is leading Bangladesh. The Indian team were thoroughly outplayed in the first ODI by Bangladesh. They were bowled out for just 186 and did not manage to handle the pressure while defending the target. Bangladesh won by just one wicket and managed to create history.

The Indian top order and the batting group as a whole need to produce the runs. Their bowling group needs to use their experience to carve out a win for India in the next game. The side has found itself in pressure situations in bilateral in the recent past.

Mohammed Shami‘s last-minute injury ruled him out of the series. Umran Malik has been named as his replacement by the BCCI. Without the likes of him Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Yuzvendra Chahal, India’s bowling attack looks a bit weak with the new lot of bowlers given a go in the series. In this article, we take a look at India’s Predicted playing XI for the second ODI against Bangladesh.
