Indian Cricket Team registered a clinical victory over the dangerous Bangladeshi Tigers. The Men in Blue won the match by 227 runs and avoided the whitewash. Ishan Kishan made a solid case for himself at the top of the order as he smashed a gigantic double century that shook the hosts.
Bangladesh Cricket Team was outdone by India in all the 3 departments of the game. Skipper Litton Das looked in all sorts of trouble as the bowlers were getting whacked all around the park. The dashing right-handed batter Virat Kohli finally broke all shackles and scored a scintillating ton and scored his 72nd International Century.
Ishan Kishan’s Father Pranav Pandey on Knock
Pranav Pandey was seen having an interaction with the media and was asked about Ishan Kishan. “After he had scored 93 against South Africa, I told him that he should have held his horses, coming so close to the three-figure knock. It would have served his team better besides helping him achieve the landmark.” said Pranav Pandey.
“Today, I would have been very happy with a ton. But he has left me overwhelmed with joy. Haan, thoda sa aggressive ho gaya tha (yes he was a bit too aggressive).” he added.
Delight for India
The Men in Blue would be ecstatic as winning the match by 227 runs margin is quite humongous in modern cricket. But still, there are a lot of loopholes in the batting department as the likes of Shikhar Dhawan & KL Rahul had a forgettable series with the bat.
Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be concerned with the injuries as it disturbs the team’s dynamics. There is uncertainty over Rohit Sharma’s availability for the Test Series starting from 14th December. It would be interesting to see how things unfold in the Test Series as we can expect a riveting contest.
