Veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami sent a message on social media after hearing that he will not be able to play in the ODIs during the team’s trip of Bangladesh.

Shami said that he has learned from each injury he has suffered and has returned even stronger. Due to a shoulder injury, the bowler will not play in the ODI series against Bangladesh.

“Injury, in general, teaches you to appreciate every moment. I’ve had my share of injuries throughout my career. It’s humbling. It gives you perspective. No matter how many times I’ve been hurt, I’ve learned from that injury and come back, even more, stronger,” tweeted Shami.

The Rohit Sharma-led side will compete against Bangladesh in three ODIs and two Test matches, starting this month. The ODI series opener will be played at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday, December 4.
