After an ODI series loss against New Zealand, Team India continues their road trip as they gear up to face Bangladesh for three ODIS and two Tests between December 4-26.

Both teams have played each other recently in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup with India beating the Tigers in both games. 

The three ODIs will be played on December 4, 7, and 10. The first two ODIS will be played in Dhaka followed by the third ODI in Chattogram. The series then moves on to the Test series with the first test in Chattogram between December 14-18. Both teams return to Chattogram for the first Test on December 22 followed by the second Test in Dhaka on December 26.

The BCCI and the BCB have announced the squads. Rohit Sharma returns back to lead the side in which Virat Kohli also returns. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, and Deepak Chahar retain their spot from the previous ODI series against the Kiwis.

KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are the two specialist keepers on the side. Suyakumar Yadav has been rested from this series as Sanju Samson yet again does not find a spot in the squad. 

For Bangladesh, Liton Das was announced as their skipper as he replaced Tamim Iqbal who is ruled out of the series with a groin injury. Shakib Al Hasan makes a return to the ODI side as Mushfiqur Rahim. Mustafizur Rahim and Taskin Ahmed will lead the bowling attack. 

India and Bangladesh last faced each other in a bilateral series in 2019. During the series, India and Bangladesh played three T20Is and two Tests. Indi won the T20I series 2-1 and the Test series 2-0. Below is the complete schedule of India’s upcoming tour to Bangladesh.
