Ishan Kishan, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Team India, talked about his historic double century against Bangladesh in the third ODI earlier this month. The child became the youngest player to reach the milestone, and his record-breaking actions assisted his team in securing a massive 227-run victory.
In addition to breaking other milestones, Kishan was the first to achieve 200 deliveries faced. The left-handed hitter took 126 balls to attain the elusive milestone before being struck out. He made an effort to stay up with the aggressive strategy and left the game having completed 131 deliveries for 210 runs.

I Want To Make More 200s: Ishan Kishan
In an interview with One Cricket, Kishan said that being one of the select few cricketers to have achieved a double hundred in ODIs is a “unique” sensation.
“Sometimes I still pinch myself after what has happened in the last couple of weeks, I can’t deny that. I want to make more 200s, but at the same time, I do feel special when I think about scoring that double hundred against Bangladesh.”

The athlete from Jharkhand was originally not supposed to compete. However, Kishan took advantage of a gap at the top of the order created by Rohit Sharma’s injury.
In order to put pressure on the underwhelming senior stalwarts, Kishan has undoubtedly placed his name in the running with Shubman Gill with the Men in Blue set to play a lot of ODI cricket in the upcoming 12 months.
I Could Have Gone For The 300, But My Wrist Was Completely Gone: Ishan Kishan
In the 35th over of the Indian batting, the wicketkeeper-batter reached 200 runs. He was let go in the very next over itself, thus he was unable to take use of the extra time.
The southpaw had a chance to break Rohit Sharma’s ODI record score of 264 and become the first player to attain an ODI triple century.

He stated, noting that his wrists had given up near the end of his knock:
“It could have been a triple hundred, I know, there were still 15 overs left. So, right now when I watch the highlights, I think that I could have gone for the 300, but my wrist was completely gone.”
Kishan continued his strong play into the domestic campaign, scoring a brilliant century for Jharkhand in their 2022–23 Ranji Trophy season first-round match.
