India National Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid believes that the teams have started to play an aggressive brand of cricket in Tests and they are focused on producing result-oriented matches.
India National Cricket Team are currently involved in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The first Test is currently underway at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and the second Test is set to be played from December 22 to 26 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

“Teams have already been more aggressive. I think over the last bit we have seen a lot more results. Teams are playing for results a lot more now and especially with the World Test Championship points on stake.”

Notably, England National Cricket Team have been playing and promoting the fearless brand of cricket in Tests ever since Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum took over as captain and head coach.
They have adopted a new ‘Bazball’ approach, which points to playing an aggressive and entertaining brand of Test cricket. The aggressive approach has been highly beneficial for Ben Stokes & Co. as they have won Tests against New Zealand, India, South Africa and Pakistan.

Rahul Dravid further said that adaptability is still going to be the most important thing in Test cricket and opined that the teams that can adapt to different conditions are going to be very successful.
He elaborated: “I still think adaptability is going to be very important in Test cricket that ability to play aggressively when you need to play aggressively or you can play aggressively with the kind of squad you have or the position you find yourself in the game. And then the opportunity to be able to play at a difficult period or a difficult day of test cricket either with the bat or the ball and knuckle down and play some tough and hard cricket as well.
“So I think that the teams that have that adaptability and the teams that have that ability to be able to switch, so to speak, even in between a Test match are the ones that are going to be very successful.”
