Indian Cricket Team took a bold step by dropping Kuldeep Yadav for the 2nd Test match against Bangladesh. The left-arm chinaman was the man of the match in the 1st Test Match where he took 8 wickets which included a 5 wicket haul in the 1st innings and scored an invaluable 40 runs while batting first.
The management included the 31-year-old left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat in the playing 11. He last played his Test Match way back in 2010 against South Africa. The speedster has been performing exceptionally well in the domestic circuit for the last 2-3 years.
Kuldeep Yadav Upset
It looks as if the decision to include Jaydev Unadkat was taken in the 11th hour. Before the start of the match, Head Coach Rahul Dravid was seen interacting with Kuldeep Yadav where he was dejected. We should not forget that picking up 8 wickets on a dead pitch is never easy as the bowler had to toil a lot.

Concerns for Kuldeep Yadav
We all know that Kuldeep had played a Test Match after a span of more than 1 year; the spinner isn’t guaranteed a spot against Australia Test Series as once again the management would stick with Jadeja & Ashwin. The management should have dropped Axar Patel from the playing 11 as wrist spinners can extract from spin.
The 28-year-old spinner made his Test debut way back in 2017 and so far has played only 8 Test Matches where he has been in and out of the side. There are chances that the management wants to use him as a secret weapon but that is hampering his confidence. It would be interesting to see whether Head Coach Rahul Dravid continues to apply horses for courses theory.
