India vs Bangladesh: BAN Playing 11 for IND- 3rd ODI. Bangladesh face off against India in the third and final ODI in Chattogram on December 10 eyeing an elusive series whitewash.

They are leading the series 2-0 after winning the first two games. They won the first ODI by 1 wicket and the second by five runs. Interestingly, Bangladesh lost to India in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup leading up to this series.

Bangladesh won the last bilateral series they played against India 2-1 back in 2015. With an even more experienced side now, they are looking for a clean sweep. Mehidy Hasan is the hero so far for the Tigers in the first two games.

He scored a match-winning 38 in the first. His century laid the platform for Bangladesh’s win in the second ODI. Shakib A Hasan has been another key figure picking up seven wickets in the series including a fifer in the first ODI.

In ODIs, India have won 30 matches while the Tigers have won seven games. Two of their seven wins came back-to-back in the first two games of this series. The skipper scored 48 in the first ODI and just seven in the second. If Bangladesh are to clean sweep Indis, the skipper has to give them a good start. Das has scored 548 runs in 12 ODIS so far this year averaging 54.80.

Anamul Haque

Haque had two back-to-back low scores in the first two ODIs. He scored 14 in the first ODI and 11 in the second. The batter has scored 194 runs in five ODIs this year so far averaging 38.80.

Najmul Hossain Shanto

The southpaw scored 0 and 21 in the first two ODIs. Shanto has scored 117 runs in seven ODIs so far this year at a meager average of 16.71.

Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib has been more impactful with the ball in the series picking up seven wickets. He scored 239 in the first ODI and just 8 in the second. The former skipper has scored 192 runs and picked up 15 wickets this year.

Mushfiqur Rahim (WK)

Rahim has failed to get going in the series scoring 18 and 12 in the first two games. The keeper-batter has scored the most runs against India for any Bangladesh batter with 658 runs in 24 matches.

Mahmudullah Riyad

Manmudullah scored 77 runs in the second ODI against India and kept his side in the game. He has scored over 400 runs against the Men in Blue in ODIs averaging 37.27.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz

Mehidy has been the in-form player for Bangladesh with both bat and ball. He scored an unbeaten 100 in the last ODI and picked up two for 46. The Tigers would ideally hope that he replicates his performance in Chattogram.

Afif scored six in the first ODI and a first-ball duck in the second. Bangladesh might replace him with Yasir Ali in the final ODI. Afif has played 21 ODIS so far and has scored just three fifties and no hundreds.

Nasum scored an unbeaten 18 and was involved in a 54-run stand with Mehidy in the second ODI However, he went wicketless with the ball. He still might retain his place in the XI.

Mustafizur Rahman

The Fizz will lead the pace attack. He defended 20 off the final over to win Bangladesh in the second ODI. So far in the two matches, he has picked up just one wicket averaging 62.

Ebadot Hossain

Hossain has picked up seven wickets in the series so far and is level with Shakib in terms of most wickets. His pace has troubled a few Indian batters.
