Arshdeep Singh Receives Maiden India Cap, Set To Make His T20I Debut In 1st T20I vs England

Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is set to make his debut for the Indian team in the opening T20I of the 3-match series against England that will get underway on July 7, Thursday.
Regular skipper Rohit Sharma returns after recovering from covid-19. He missed out on the fifth Test in Edgbaston which England comfortably won by seven wickets to level the 5-match series 2-2.
Rohit was seen handing the cap to Arshdeep, who finally makes his international debut after being overlooked for the home series against South Africa. The debut comes on the back of excellent performances in the IPL 2022 season for Punjab Kings.
