The ENG vs IND 5th Test commences on July 1 (Friday). The venue of the clash is Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, UK.

Both India and England have announced their squad for ENG vs IND 5th Test. Rohit Sharma is the skipper of India while Ben Stokes is the skipper of England. The ENG vs IND Test is the rescheduled match from last year’s series.

India leads the series 2-1 currently. Hence, they need to either win or draw the match to grab a series win. On the other hand, England needs to win the match to end the series in a tie. Last year during England’s tour, India defeated England in the 2nd Test by 151 runs and the 4th Test by 157 runs.

England won the 3rd Test by an innings and 76 runs. The opening ENG vs IND Test ended in a draw. After the Indian camp observed multiple cases of COVID-19, the 5th and final Test was postponed. Now, the much-awaited Test match is set to find the result of the Test series.

Both India and England had successful results in their last Test campaigns. Indian team last played a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka earlier this year. India won both the games and won the series. England recently faced New Zealand in 3 Tests. England crushed New Zealand in all 3 games and won the series 3-0.
