ENG vs IND: Since The Series Has Been Won, Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli Can Take Their Time - Parthiv Patel

Former Indian wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel believes that the Indian senior batters, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, can take time to settle before attacking in the final T20I against England on Sunday.
The match is a dead rubber since India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. After winning the first game by 50 runs, Rohit and co. swatted aside England once again, winning by 49 runs in the second T20I.
“Trent Bridge (venue for third T20I) is a batting-friendly wicket. It could be an advantage for India because fans want Rohit to get big runs. He is looking good, but he is not able to convert the 30s.”

“As for Virat Kohli, the runs are not coming. But now, there is no pressure since the series has been won, so they can take their time,” Parthiv mentioned in a chat with Cricbuzz.
“India may want to give him some experience” – Parthiv Patel on Umran Malik
The team that played in the second T20I is pretty much the full-strength team but Parthiv opined that Umran Malik might get a look-in as he hasn’t yet played against a top side.
“I don’t see any changes in the batting, but Umran Malik might come in as one of the bowlers. A lot is being spoken about him. He played against Ireland, but India may want to give him some experience against a strong side,” he added.

The third and final T20I of the India-England series will be played at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Sunday. Rohit will be hoping to maintain his 14-game unbeaten streak in the shortest format of the game.
