Watch: Mohammed Shami Nips Out Jos Buttler With A Lovely Delivery
Indian pacer Mohammed Shami continued his good form as he picked up the crucial wicket of England batter, Jos Buttler, in the second of the 3-match ODI series between India and England.
Rohit Sharma once again won the toss and put the opposition in to bat first. The surface at Lord’s wasn’t as conducive for swing and seam as the previous game but the Indian pacers troubled the openers.
After a steady start, Jason Roy was sent back before Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root fell to Yuzvendra Chahal. Rohit brought back Shami into the attack and he instantly provided another wicket, sending back Buttler.
A pacy delivery that came in with the angle was met with a cross bat by Buttler. The ball raced through the gap between pad and bat, dislodging the stumps and spelled further trouble for the hosts.
