Indian Cricket Team won yet another T20I Series against New Zealand by 1-0. The Men in Blue would be ecstatic as a lot of senior players were not a part of the leg. Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers in the 3rd T20I match where he took 4 scalps for 17 runs in his 4 overs spell.
New Zealand would be looking for a quick turnaround as the ODI Series is slated to begin on 25th November (Friday). This ODI Series is a part of the World Super League as both teams are evenly matched. India has opted to rest star cricketers in order to give youngsters a chance on the big stage.
Aakash Chopra on Mohammed Siraj
Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his YouTube channel and made interesting statements about Mohammed Siraj. “Mohammed Siraj bowled well. He is not your typical T20 bowler because he is a slight hit-the-deck-hard type of bowler. We have seen him go very expensive as well. Of course, when someone plays at the Chinnaswamy, or for RCB, it is natural for him to be expensive. He is growing, he is maturing, it is nice to see him bowl like this.” said Aakash Chopra.
Enthralling Series on Cards
India would be well aware of the fact that New Zealand would be well prepared for all the challenges. Under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan, the team recently won ODI Series against South Africa after being 1-0 down.
The team would be hoping that Suryakumar Yadav continues his fearless approach. Along with Suryakumar, Shreyas Iyer has would be roaring to make a case for himself in the next year’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
New Zealand on the other side would be banking on Kane Williamson to break shackles and produce a significant score. The right-handed batter needs to focus on rotating the strike. The Black Caps have a potent bowling lineup as the likes of Tim Southee & Ish Sodhi has the game plan to create havoc against India.
