5. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad is the first player on this list. The right-handed batsman has not played any ODI match so far. During India’s tour of Sri Lanka 2021 in July, he made his T20I debut. Now, after his successful batting show in IPL 2021 in which he won the orange cap, the 24-year-old player is given a spot in the ODI squad. He might make his ODI debut during the IND vs SA ODI series, playing his first match on South African soil.

4. Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer is another player who can play his first ODI in South Africa during the IND vs SA ODI series. Like Ruturaj, Iyer has also not played an ODI match so far.
