IND vs SA- Match Preview, India’s Tour Of South Africa 2021-22, 3rd Test. India is set to face South Africa in the 3rd and final Test match of the ongoing tour. IND vs SA 3rd Test of India’s tour of South Africa 2021-22 begins on January 11. The venue of the clash is Newlands Cricket Stadium in Cape Town.

India defeated South Africa in the 1st Test by 113 runs. The home side made a comeback in the 2nd Test, winning the match by 7 wickets. In the match, India batted first and posted 202-10 in the 1st innings, with a half-century by KL Rahul (50). Later, with Keegan Petersen’s 62, South Africa piled up 229-10, taking a 27-run lead.

In the 2nd innings, middle-order duo Ajinkya Rahane (58) and Cheteshwar Pujara (53) slammed fifties for India. The team eventually got all-out for 266, setting up a target of 240 for the hosts. In the 2nd innings, South Africa managed to reach the target with 7 wickets in hand, with Dean Elgar’s incredible 96 not-out. Now, the series is tied 1-1 and the winner of the IND vs SA 3rd Test will win the series.
