IND vs SA: Weather Forecast And Pitch Report Of Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town- India’s Tour Of South Africa 2021-22, 3rd Test Day 1. India and South Africa will engage in an exciting battle during the 3rd Test of the ongoing Test series. IND vs SA 3rd Test clash is set to start on January 11 at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. The series is currently tied at 1-1 and the 3rd Test will decide the result of the three-match series.

India defeated South Africa by 113 runs in the 1st Test. Smashing 327-10 and 174-10 in both innings, India set up a target of 305 for the hosts. South Africa, who slammed 197 in the 1st innings, got out for 191 in the 2nd innings, failing to chase the target.

In the 2nd Test, the host made a comeback after winning the match by 7 wickets. India slammed 202-10 in the first innings, with a 50 by KL Rahul and a crucial 46 by Ravichandran Ashwin. However, South Africa scored 27 runs more, getting bowled out for 229.

In the 2nd innings, Ajinkya Rahane (58) and Cheteshwar Pujara (58) slammed half-centuries, to take India to 266-10 in the end. However, South Africa managed to chase down the 240-run target on day 4. Dean Elgar, who started as an opener, slammed unbeaten 96 to bring home the victory.
