IND vs SA: Watch - KL Rahul Sends Back Temba Bavuma With A Direct Hit
Indian captain KL Rahul affected the dismissal of his South African counterpart, Temba Bavuma, in the third and final ODI between the two sides in Cape Town on Sunday.
South Africa was asked to bat first by Rahul on a track that is relatively different from the ones played on in the first two matches. In typical fashion, Quinton de Kock got off to a good start, scoring a flurry of boundaries.
Top-scorer in the previous match, Janneman Malan, was dismissed early by Deepak Chahar, who is one of the four changes that India has made for the dead rubber. Bavuma joined de Kock at the crease to spur the flow of runs in the powerplay.
Unfortunately, Bavuma’s stay at the crease was cut short by Rahul. After tapping a delivery to mid-off, Bavuma took for a single but he kept going wider of the crease in order to avoid the bowler, who was in his way after his natural followthrough.
As a result, he had to cover a few steps in order to get to the crease. In this time, Rahul managed to pick up and fire a sharp throw at the base of the stumps which dislodged the bails, catching Bavuma just inches short of the crease.

The final ODI will be another test for the Indian middle-order and bowling, which has been a letdown so far in the series.
