India National Cricket Team medium pacer Harshal Patel is expected to return to the playing XI for the fourth T20I match of the five-match T20I series against the West Indies National Cricket Team, according to reports.
India National Cricket Team have a 2-1 lead in the series against West Indies National Cricket Team and the 4th T20I will be played on Saturday, August 6 at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.
Star pacer Harshal Patel, who is an important member of India’s T20I setup, has picked up the joint most T20I wickets for India National Cricket Team since the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. Later, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a statement on Twitter asserting that Harshal has sustained a rib injury and he has been ruled out of the 2nd and 3rd T20I games.
“Harshal Patel has a rib injury and is unavailable for selection for the 2nd and 3rd T20I. He is being monitored by the BCCI medical team,” BCCI tweeted after the toss of the second ODI in Saint Kitts.
