Rohit will continue to lead the side and he will open the batting. Shikhar Dhawan who is picked for the England ODIs might be retained for the ODI series against West Indies as well. The middle order will constitute Virat Kohli, Suryakmaar Yadav and Rishabh Pant certain. One among Shreyas Iyer or Deepak Hooda might be picked given the requirement of the team.

Hooda has played a few T20Is for India recently. Against Ireland, he recently became the fourth Indian to score a T20I century. Shreyas Iyer has been inconsistent and has a weakness against the short ball which has been exposed now in international cricket. The rest of the batters very much pick themselves.
