IND vs WI: Wicket-keeper Sanju Samson Wins Indian Journalist Vimal Kumar's Heart With Heartfelt Gesture In Trinidad

Star India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson won the hearts of veteran Indian journalist Vimal Kumar and fans with his heartfelt gesture towards the journalist in Trinidad after the conclusion of the three-match ODI series between India National Cricket Team and West Indies National Cricket Team.

The 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman played all three games for India National Cricket Team in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against West Indies National Cricket Team. He scored just 12 runs in the first game. However, he made a strong comeback in the second ODI by smashing brilliant 54 runs and in the third ODI, he scored unbeaten 6 runs.

Meanwhile, the veteran Indian journalist Vimal Kumar, who is currently in West Indies covering the games, shared a video on his official YouTube channel in which he was talking about Sanju Samson.

Kumar spoke about his interaction with Samson after the third ODI in Port of Spain and said that the star wicketkeeper-batsman offered him to travel with the team on the bus to the Brian Lara Stadium for the T20I series opener after he had asserted that the venue for the first T20I was a bit far from there.

Meanwhile, the Indian journalist politely refused to travel on the Indian team bus because it was against BCCI’s protocol, which restricts journalists from travelling with the team. Also, Samson’s heartfelt gesture left the journalist in awe of the wicketkeeper-batsman.

Notably, Kumar had interviewed Samson during his stint with the Delhi franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), but the current Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper failed to recognize the journalist.

Sanju Samson has been included in India’s squad for the five-match T20I series against West Indies National Cricket Team as a replacement for KL Rahul, who has been advised by the medical team to take a rest. Also, Samson has been named in India’s squad for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe National Cricket Team.
