Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani Bought By Gujarat Titans For INR 2.6 Crores In IPL 2022 Mega Auction

Uncapped Indian player Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani was bought by the new franchise, Gujarat Titans, for INR 2.6 crores on Day 1 of the IPL 2022 mega auction being held in Bengaluru.
The Karnataka batter received a huge boost from his base price of INR 20 lakhs. He had multiple franchises going after him, with the Titans having the final say on where he lands.

First up, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) started off the bidding war. It took a short while for the price to reach INR 1 crore. Titans then had a say in the matter, going up against KKR.
Eventually, the clash came to an end as KKR backed out when the Titans bid INR 2.6 crores. The youngster had scored 162 runs in four innings at an average of 54 and a strike rate of 150 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The Titans had so far focused on the bowling attack and bought Mohammed Shami and Lockie Ferguson. They have Shubman Gill to open the batting along with Jason Roy, who was bought at his base price of INR 2 cr.
