Chetan Sakariya Bought By Delhi Capitals For INR 4.2 Crores In The IPL 2022 Mega Auction

The 23-year-old Chetan Sakariya bagged a contract as the franchise bought him for INR crores in the IPL 2022 mega auction. He took 14 wickets in 14 matches in the IPL 2021 season.

Sakariya was bought by Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.2 crores ahead of the IPL 2021 season. He immediately made an impression with his simple bowling action and was impactful for the RR side.

He went on to make his debut for India in ODIs and T20Is when the Men in Blue toured Sri Lanka with a second-string squad. Although Sakariya hasn’t played for India since his stocks certainly rose.
