CSK vs KKR: Yuvraj Singh Shares An Advice For Talented Wicket Keeper Sheldon Jackson

Legendary Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has requested the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicketkeeper-batsman, Sheldon Jackson, to wear a helmet while keeping to the spin bowlers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

The first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was played between Ravindra Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, March 26.

The 35-year-old Sheldon Jackson, who was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction for INR 60 lakh, got the opportunity in the playing XI in the first match itself and he was handed over the gloves in the presence of England’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings.

Jackson looked brilliant behind the stumps and he pulled off a lightning-quick stumping to dismiss Robin Uthappa in the 8th over of the match, which was bowled by Varun Chakravarthy. Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar was highly impressed with Jackson’s keeping and he took to Twitter to shower praise on the wicket-keeper.

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj noticed that the 35-year-old Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper, Sheldon Jackson, was not wearing a helmet when he was keeping to the spinners – Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy.

Yuvraj took to Twitter to make a request to “talented player” Jackson to wear a helmet and wished him all the best for getting an opportunity in Kolkata Knight Riders playing XI after a long time.
