CSK vs SRH: Chennai Super Kings’ Predicted Playing XI Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL 2022, Match 17, CSK vs SRH. Chennai Super Kings will look to get back to winning ways as they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 17 of IPL 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium on April 9. They have been rocked early with three consecutive losses and need to start winning to stay in the race for the playoffs.

Punjab Kings vs Gujarat Titans Dream11 Prediction

CSK lost to Punjab Kings in their previous match. They were a no-show in front of the hard-hitting Liam Livingstone. His innings of 60 from 32 balls took CSK by surprise as their bowlers went all around the park.

During the chase, the top-order not getting runs made it difficult for the middle-order as MS Dhoni and Shivam Dube’s efforts were not enough to take CSK home. Ahead of their game against SRH, they would like to correct these mistakes and would ask their openers to get back to scoring runs. In terms of choosing their playing XI, they might not look to change their combination just yet barring any forced changes.

Uthappa got starts in all three matches so far but has failed to kick on. He scored 13 against Punjab Kings. He has tried playing way too many shots at the start of his innings and perished in the process, CSK will look for a big innings from Uthappa against SRH.

Since winning the Orange Cap last season, Gaikwad has not looked his usual self, in fact, a show of what he has been in the past. His first three scores in the IPL have been 0, 1, and 1 . He would look to get back to scoring runs and get over his nightmarish start in IPL 2022. It will be interesting to see how much he scores against SRH.

Moeen Ali

Ali has not been able to create an impact for CSK in the two games that he has played so far. Against Punjab Kings, he scored a duck as he chopped one to his stumps early on. With the ball, he was asked to bowl one over. He has been underutilized by skipper Ravindra Jadeja which has been one of the drawbacks of his captaincy so far.

Rayudu is a big part of that Chennai Super Kings middle-order. He has been short of runs. However, since he is one of the senior players on the side, they will bank upon him to get back to scoring runs.

Shivam Dube

Dube looked in top-notch hitting form against Punjab Kings. However, he found no support from the other end, to take his side home. He has to work on his bowling and needs to continue in the same manner for the sake of his team.

Ravindra Jadeja

Jadeja needs to lead his team from the front. So far in the three matches, he has not looked at his best and the pressure of captaincy can be seen on his game. Probably the game against SRH can help him free himself up.

Since scoring the unbeaten 50 against KKR in their first game, the former CSK skipper has not got too many. He is batting way down the order for his liking and is losing out on partners at the other end. He scored 23 off 28 balls in an innings which never got going against the KIngs. He should look to bat up the order in the remaining season, probably at number four.

Dwayne Bravo

Bravo has been kept in the side more for his bowling rather than his batting. He picked three wickets against KKR but against Punjab Kings gave runs over 10 runs per over in the three overs that he bowled. He will look to sort out his bowling length against SRH in a must-win contest for his side.

Dwaine Pretorius

Playing his second game for Chennai Super Kings, Pretorious displayed his skills with the ball. He picked up f=2/30 off his spell, a performance that should be good enough to keep his place in the XI. Against SRH, he would look for another similar sort of performance.

Chris Jordan

Jordan also bowled pretty well in CSK’s previous game against PNKS. He gave away 23 runs off his spell and took two wickets. His role would be the same at the death, take wickets and gibe the least runs possible.

Rajvardhan Hangargekar

In case they want to replace the left-arm pacer, they can give an opportunity to Hangargekar. He played well in the U-19 World Cup and was bagged by CSK for 1.5 crores. He is an out-and-out all-rounder and can be useful both with the bat and ball.
