DC vs KKR: Watch – Wrist Spinner Kuldeep Yadav Dismisses Andre Russell For A Duck To Bag His 4th Wicket Of The Match

Delhi Capitals (DC) left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) explosive batter Andre Russell in the 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, April 28.

Kuldeep Yadav has bowled incredibly well against his former team Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2022. In the first match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders, the left-arm wrist-spinner bagged 4 wickets and he delivered an equally effective performance in the second match between the teams at a different venue this time.

Andre Russell came to bat after Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer got out on the first ball of the 14th over. Russell batted for 2 balls before being dismissed on the 3rd ball against Kuldeep.

Kuldeep delivered a ball wide of the crease that turned in from outside off and Russell charged down the track while trying to smash the ball but the ball was a bit low and Russell missed his shot completely.

The ball went straight into the hands of wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant but he was unable to collect the ball properly, however, the ball fell off the gloves onto the stumps and the Kolkata Knight Riders batter was well short of the crease.

Earlier, Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman opened the attack for Delhi Capitals against Kolkata Knight Riders’ new opening pair of Aaron Finch and Venkatesh Iyer and he gave away just 2 runs in the over.

Chetan Sakariya bowled the second over and on the third ball, he castled Aaron Finch for 3 with an incredible delivery. The next few overs were decent for Kolkata Knight Riders before the left-arm spinner cleaned up left-arm opening batsman Venkatesh Iyer for 6 on the 3rd ball of the 5th over. At the end of the powerplay, Kolkata Knight Riders were at 29/2.

Meanwhile, Ex-KKR wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav bowled a brilliant 8th over by dismissing Baba Indrajith and Sunil Narine on back-to-back deliveries.

At the time of writing, Kolkata Knight Riders are at 101/6 in 16 overs.
