Delhi Capitals played a near-perfect game against KKR in their previous match. Prithvi Shaw and David Warner scored runs at the top of the order with Kuldeep Yadav crumbling KKR’s chase. Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel aced the finisher’s role with the bat as well batting lower down the order.

Warner scored his first fifty of IPL 2022 against KKR. He scored 61 and along with Shaw added 93 for the first wicket. DC would look forward to a similar start from their openers against RCB as well.

Pant will bat at number three and should look to anchor the innings and provide a stage for the likes of Rovman Powell and Shardul Thakur to provide the finishing kick. He has looked sharp and canny as a captain with his decision-making.

The off-spinning all-rounder is doing a fair job to hold onto his place in the side and will continue to do so. He is also giving them a few overs inside the powerplay if required.

The big-hitting West Indian scored just 8 against KKR and was dismissed by his countryman Sunil Narine. Powell is yet to prove his complete potential for Delhi Capitals so far in the season and hopefully, RCB is the opposition for him to showcase his powers.

Axar Patel

The all-rounder scored 22 off 14 balls against KKR and along with Shardul Thakur added a 49-run stand to take Delhi Capitals to the score of 215. His batting is a big bonus for the side along with his batting skills.

Thakur scored 29 off just 11 balls and was another reason behind Delhi getting 200-plus in the game against KKR. He came back to take two crucial wickets including that of Andre Russell. The Indian all-rounder was one of the big-money buys for DC.

DC did not use Sarfaraz Khan with the bat against KKR. They will be better of bring another Indian bowler in the line-up and stacking up their bowling attack. Kamlesh Nagarkoti with his express pace can be a good choice instead of Sarfaraz Khan against RCB.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav mesmerised everyone with his quality spin bowling against KKR. He took a four-fer against KKR his old IPL franchise and also had a point to prove. He is becoming Pant’s go-to man when he is in search of wickets.

Nortje missed the match against KKR due to an injury concern. If he is fit for the clash against RCB, he should be back in the playing XI. In case he is not, the Fizz can be given another game.

The left-arm paver picked three for 25 against KKR and has done enough to hold onto his place for the clash against RCB. This concludes Delhi Capitals’ strongest predicted playing XI against RCB.
