Rishabh Pant Reveals Real Reason Behind Axar Patel Not Playing Today’s Match Against Sunrisers Hyderabad

At the toss, Rishabh Pant informed about the huge amount of changes made to the team. He mentioned that some changes made by Delhi Capitals are forced changes and some are because of the wicket.
The Delhi Capitals captain mentioned that the spin-bowling all-rounder Axar Patel was a forced change as he has suffered an injury and was not fit and available for the match. Pant elaborated:
“We’re happy to bat first, nothing much changes for us – we have 4 changes. Shaw, Axar, Mustafizur and Sakariya aren’t playing. Nortje, Mandeep, Ripal Patel and Khaleel are in – some are forced changes due to injuries particularly Axar Patel, and few are because of the wicket. There is nothing much to talk (about losses), you can only learn from your mistakes and keep improving.”
