Chennai Super Kings will play Gujarat Titans on Sunday, April 16 in an evening game starting from 7.30 pm IST. CSK beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in their previous match. This is the side’s first game at the MCA stadium in Pune. They are placed ninth in the points table at the moment and looking to move onwards and upwards from here.
Chennai Super Kings losing their first game took everyone by surprise. They failed to bring out the best from their players and the absence of Deepak Chahar was badly felt. However, now the team seems to have moved away from their loss and looking to string a few wins together.

As far as CSK’splaying XI is concerned they should not look to change it given they won pretty convincingly against RCB. Barring any injury concerns, they should look to field the same XI. Though Ruturaj Gaikwad is struggling for form, CSK is happy to give him the long rope and it looks like they will continue to do so.
GT vs CSK: Chennai Super Kings’ Predicted Playing XI Against Gujarat Titans, IPL 2022, Match 29 GT vs CSK
Robin Uthappa

Uthappa registered his best IPL score against RCB. He finally made the opportunity count scoring 88 runs off 50 balls with four fours and nine sixes. He also added a 165-run stand with Shivam Dube and played his part in taking CSK over the 200-run mark. He will continue to open the innings.

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Gaikwad is having a torrid time with the bat. He scored 17 against RCB, which is his highest score so far in IPL 2022. He won the Orange Cap last year and has looked a shadow of his in this season so far.
Moeen Ali

The England all-rounder has also struggled so far both with both bat and ball. He missed CSK’s first game against KKR and since then has not contributed much in the games that he has played. He needs to have a few good games for CSK now.
Shivam Dube

Dube scored 95 in his previous match for RCB. He needs to continue now having got a good score under his belt. The southpaw needs to play with intent in the middle overs to allow MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to cash in in the death overs.
Ambati Rayudu

Rayudu has batted a few times up and down the order. Ideally, he should bat at number four or five but not any lower. His job is to set a platform for the big-hitters to score runs in the final overs.
MS Dhoni

Since scoring 50 in the first game against KKR, Dhoni has struggled with the bat. However, with Dhoni an impactful innings is always around the corner and he would hope that this is the match.
Ravindra Jadeja

Skipper Ravindra Jadeja won his first game as captain and his responsibility only increases from here on. He should bat at six or seven depending on the requirement of his team.
Dwayne Bravo

Bravo has been mostly bowling for Chennai Super Kings. He will have the responsibility of bowling the tough overs in the death. Anything that he provides with the bat is a bonus these days.
Chris Jordan

Chris Jorda will continue to play for Chennai Super Kings. He bowled an expensive spell against RCB. However, he is one of the best death overs bowler going around in the format and an excellent fielder to boot.
Maheesh Theekshana

The Sri Lankan spinner took 4/33 and broke the back of the RCB batting line-up. His form is a blessing for CSK with Moeen Ali not being able to take wickets. How he bowls against the big-hitters of Gujarat will be an interesting observation.
Mukesh Choudhary

The left-arm pacers dismissed Virat Kohli in his previous game against RCB. However, he was expensive and needs to bring down his economy. This concludes CSK’s strongest predicted playing Xi against GT.
