GT vs CSK: Watch - Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja Get Angry After Shivam Dube Drops David Miller's Catch After Floodlight Obstructs His View

Shivam Dube did not attempt a catch of David Miller who was going berserk in Gujarat Titans’ chase of 170 runs against Chennai Super Kings. Miller had already scored his half-century and was looking to take the game away from CSK.

It was the 17th over of the game and GT needed 50 runs off 22 balls. Dwayne Bravo was bowling the over, Miller hit the ball in the air towards dip mid-wicket where Shivam Dube was fielding, but Dube did not attempt the catch at all. It left captain Ravindra Jadeja and DJ Bravo fuming.

CSK courtesy of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu posted 169 on the board in the first innings. Gaikwad scored 73 runs off 48 balls and returned to form while Rayudu scored 46 runs and complimented him well. A brilliant finish by Jadeja helped CSK post a respectable total on board. The best bowler for GT was Alzarri Joseph who was playing his first game of the season. He picked up two wickets for 35 runs. Rashid Khan, who was captaining the side in the absence of Hardik Pandya also bowled well. He did not pick up a wicket but bowled a brilliant 19th over as he gave away only 6 runs.

GT didn’t have a great start as they lost 4 wickets for 48 runs but then Miller was playing a lone battle. His innings were proving to be a difference.

And as it happened, Dube not going for the catch did not please either the captain Ravindra Jadeja or the bowler DJ Bravo. The reason could be floodlights, but Miller didn’t give any other chances in his whole innings.
