GT vs LSG: Watch - Krunal Pandya Refrains From Celebrating After Dismissing Hardik Pandya

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Krunal Pandya opted not to celebrate but instead portray a smug smile after dismissing his brother and Gujarat Titans (GT) captain, Hardik Pandya, during their opening match in IPL 2022 season.

The brothers were playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) until the last season. They were let go by the franchise and ended up being picked up by GT and LSG. The two new franchises are playing their first game in the league at the Wankhede Stadium.

During the second innings of the game, Krunal managed to dismiss Hardik. He baited his younger brother with a juicy tossed-up delivery and Hardik couldn’t resist. He bit the bait hard and went at the ball with full force, only for the bat to turn in his hand.

The skier was scooped up by Manish Pandey fielding at long-off. Krunal had his hands on his face, knowing that he had done his brother in with a wily delivery, and enjoyed the moment that he will certainly talk about at the family dinners.

Earlier, LSG fought back courtesy of fifties from Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni. They were rattled early by Mohammed Shami’s spell-binding bowling in the powerplay but managed to recover and post 158 on the board.

GT was in trouble after Hardik fell, leaving them reeling at 72/3 in the 11th over. Considering their batting lineup is quite dependent on their top-order, GT is in serious trouble.
