GT vs RCB: Revealed - Why Anuj Rawat Is Keeping Wickets For RCB Instead Of Dinesh Karthik

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Anuj Rawat was seen keeping the wickets for his team instead of veteran wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik in the 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 against Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, April 30.

Dinesh Karthik, who is designated wicket-keeper of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League 2022, was feeling unwell during the match against Gujarat Titans.

Karthik not being fully fine led to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) taking permission from the opposition, Gujarat Titans (GT), to have a player from outside their playing XI to keep the wickets for them during Gujarat Titans’ innings because Royal Challengers Bangalore had no back-up keeper in their playing XI.
