Virat Kohli has been struggling for runs in the 15th edition of IPL. But he returned to some kind of form as he scored his first fifty of the season against Gujarat Titans on Saturday here at the Brabourne Stadium.
Anushka Sharma, his wife was the happiest person in the stadium as she cheered for her husband from the stadium after he reached his fifty in the 13th over of the innings.
Virat Kohli Has Struggled For Runs in IPL 2022
Kohli has had terrible IPL till the game against Gujarat Titans as he could only manage just two 40+ scores in the tournament in 9 games. He also bagged two golden ducks along with getting run-out twice in the tournament.
He has gotten out in all sorts of ways in the tournament but against GT, he was lucky against Mohammad Shami as the ball passed his bat a couple of times.
Rashid Khan also dropped him off his bowling just prior to Virat’s fifty.
When Virat Kohli reached his fifty his wife was the happiest person on the field as she cheered and lauded her husband’s efforts.

Kohli’s return to form should be a good sign for Royal Challengers Bangalore as a whole as their batting has struggled in the last two games. With the race to playoff heating up, they would hope that their most experienced player can change things around and perform to the best of his abilities.
Virat’s return to form would also put rest to all the reports that Virat may be dropped from the Indian T20 side as has been reported recently by various channels.
