IPL 2022: All My Memories Have Been Made With Mumbai Indians: Hardik Pandya

Gujarat Titans captain, Hardik Pandya in a recently released video on social media by the franchise recalled his old days with Mumbai Indians, his previous franchise at the IPL.
Hardik Pandya made his debut for MI in 2015 and played for them for 7 years. In that period, the franchise won 4 titles and Pandya played a big part in those wins.

IPL 2022: I Jokingly Told Kieron Pollard That He May Play for Us Next Season: Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya was an instrumental part of MI’s success in the past. He scored 1476 runs and picked up 42 wickets for them in 7 years. He made a lethal partnership with Kieron Pollard in the middle order. Both the batters demolished attacks at the death and at one time were the most destructive pair in the end overs.
Both Hardik Pandya and Pollard shared close bonds with each other, with Hardik also calling Pollard, ‘brother from another mother’. Their friendship has been seen on numerous occasions. Be it on the field or off it.
Recalling his old days with MI, Pandya said, “I have always seen myself in blue and gold but I am also in blue and gold with my home state, which is something even more special. I kind of got my first glimpse of success in that game (against CSK) where I scored 3 sixes when we needed 32 or something off 2 overs. A lot of memories are there, all my memories have been made with that team.”

About the clash against Mumbai Indians, where Hardik will be facing them for the first time in the IPL as an opposing player, he said, “I wish Polly (Pollard) has the best day for him but I hope we win. I messaged Polly a few days ago and said ‘hope you are okay, hope you are enjoying it’. I said we kind of missed him here. In a joking way, I said ‘you never know. you might come to us next year’. It’s my wish but I know it’s never going to happen.”
Hardik Pandya’s wish may or may not come true. IPL has given us many surprises. But as far as this season is concerned, Pollard has been in awful form as he has scored just 125 runs from 9 games and has struggled to close out games.
