30 players from England have enrolled themselves in the upcoming IPL 2022 mega auction. As many as 1214 cricketers have registered for the upcoming IPL 2022 mega auction. Out of 1214, there are 896 Indian players and 318 overseas players. Overall, there are 270 capped, 903 uncapped, and 41 Associate players.

The IPL 2022 mega auction will be held on February 12-13. Various England players are played in the IPL over the years. This year, however, many of them have opted out due to embarrassing Ashes defeat. The likes of Ben Stokes, Joe Root and Jofra Archer will not be a part of the upcoming auction. However, despite their absence, England have a strong contingent of players to choose from. Thus, if that is the case, the England opener might be on the wishlist of many franchises including the two new ones (Lucknow, Ahmedabad) Roy played the last IPL season for Sunrisers Hyderabad where he played the last games and scored a few crucial runs for his side.

Jonny Bairstow

Bairstow along with David Warner formed the batting pillar for Sunrisers Hyderabad over the years. However, he was released ahead of the mega auction, A reputed wicketkeeper-batsman in the format, Bairstow is expected to be sold for a huge sum of many with many teams looking for a good wicketkeeper-batsman.
