Boult will be one of the first targets among the list of New Zealand players. He was released by Mumbai Indians due to the strict rules of retention. However, Mumbai along with all the other franchises now have a chance to rope in the left-arm seamer. His ability to get wickets with the new ball is what makes him a special bowler inside the IPL. The franchises are expected to go all-out behind him for this particular trait. He took 13 wickets last season.

Having a good knowledge of all the platers is what sets him apart from all the other bowlers in the IPL. Southee too is expected to be roped in at a good price by the franchises.

Seifert was roped in by KKR after his exploits for Trinbago Knight Riders in the CPL. However, the talented Kiwi wicketkeeper-batsman find to get a place in the playing XI. A new IPL season with two new IPL teams, Seifert might find a place among one of the 210 teams given his big-hitting ability with the bat and his safe glovework behind the stumps.

Mitchell Santner

Spin always plays a big part in the IPL and this is where Santner might find a spin-friendly franchise. He has proved to be a good utility cricketer with CSK, winning them matches with the bat as well. With 10 teams fighting for good spin options, one of them might bid big for the Kiwi spinner.

Kyle Jamieson

The tall all-rounder having played with Royal Challengers Bangalore failed to make a mark in the IPL. However, he is one of the most talented young cricketers going around and this is where he might be able to attract a bidder. Good overseas all-rounders are few and far between and that is where Jamieson might find it easier to break through.
